Tile Cleaning

Tile cleaning involves the deep scrubbing and sanitizing of tile surfaces and grout lines to remove built-up dirt, grime, and stains. Over time, regular mopping or cleaning methods can leave residues that dull the appearance of tiles and fail to reach the dirt trapped in porous grout. Professional tile cleaning not only restores the shine and cleanliness of your tile floors, walls, or countertops but also helps prevent mold and bacteria growth in grout lines. At Caribou Cleaning, we ensure your tile surfaces are thoroughly cleaned, leaving them looking amazing while protecting the longevity of your floors.

Your Tile Cleaning Process

Inspection

A pre-cleaning inspection is performed to note any cracks or chips in your tile, to prevent any damage.

After an inspection has been completed, we then apply our pre-treatment and agitate using tile brushes to loosen up any soils, grime, or stains.

We then use a Hydroforce cleaning wand to both deep clean your tile and extract water simultaneously.

Why Should I clean my tile, and how often?

For optimal cleanliness and longevity, it’s recommended to have your tile and grout professionally cleaned every 12 to 18 months. In high-traffic areas like kitchens and bathrooms, more frequent cleaning every 6 to 12 months can help maintain their appearance and prevent stubborn stains or buildup. Regular professional cleaning ensures that your tiles stay vibrant and free from harmful bacteria or mold that can develop in grout lines over time.

Why?

Professional tile cleaning provides a deep clean that regular methods simply can't match. Over time, dirt, grime, and bacteria accumulate in the pores of grout and the surfaces of tiles, diminishing their appearance and creating potential health risks. A professional cleaning not only restores the shine and vibrancy of your tiles but also protects your home from harmful mold and mildew buildup. It extends the life of your tile surfaces, making them easier to maintain and leaving your space looking fresh and hygienic.
